Classwork: Students split into groups and selected a Greek god to present on
     They researched the god/goddess
             They created a google slide document that included:

  • Family Tree
  • Story of god/goddess
  • Artwork through history that depicts the god/goddess
  • Symbols/Imagery of the god
  • Pop culture reference

• Students presented second half of class

Classwork:

• Students took notes on stage areas, body positions and basic blocking notation (See video)
• Students gave blocking direction to fellow students to asses their understanding of stage areas and body positions
• As a class, we played "Simon Says" with stage areas and blocking notation.

Classwork: 

• Students participated in discussion about the origins of Western Civilization. 
• Students took notes and discussed powerpoint (below) about Greek Theatre
• Students took a kahoot to assess knowledge.
